Aftercare is available for children ages five and older.

Grades Aftercare

Grades Aftercare is provided three days per week, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, between the hours of 3:00-5:00 PM on days that school is in session. A minimum of three students is required for Grades Aftercare to be provided; class size is limited to twelve children.

Kindergarten Aftercare

Aftercare is provided for kindergarten children ages five and older four days per week, Monday through Thursday, between the hours of 12:45-2:45 PM on days that school is in session. A minimum of three students is required for Kindergarten Aftercare to be provided; class size is limited to nine children.

Aftercare Enrollment Policies

Pre-scheduled Aftercare

Reserve aftercare for your child by filling out the Aftercare Enrollment Form available in the Sunfield office or in the kindergarten classes, and by signing up on the monthly Aftercare Calendar at the kindergarten. Payment is required at the time of sign-up and, to ensure program stability, is not refundable. Pre-scheduling Aftercare is strongly recommended as it helps to make the program more predictable.

Occasional Aftercare

You may use Aftercare on an occasional basis providing that space is available and the program is offered on that day (Aftercare is cancelled when there are less than three children enrolled). Occasional Aftercare requires twenty-four hours notice so that you are assured of a care provider.

Aftercare for Committee and Board Members

Children of volunteers who are attending a committee or board meeting at Sunfield may stay in Aftercare free of charge for the hours of the meeting only. Time before or after the scheduled meeting time will be considered and billed as Occasional Aftercare.

Aftercare Rates

Aftercare rates are $10 per two-hour session, and are not pro-rated for partial hours.
