Experience Waldorf Education

Saturday, February 9 & April 20

10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Explore Waldorf education on a farm where learning is joyful work. The morning starts with our teachers speaking on the principles of Waldorf education. Next, individual teachers demonstrate their teaching in a sampler of lessons from pre-kindergarten to Grade 8. Experience the unique quality of Waldorf education as you take in a kindergarten circle, a geometry lesson, a science lesson, and a language arts lesson in this special morning.

The lessons are at grade level, but for adults only. Childcare is provided.

Walk Through the Grades

Tuesdays: February 26, March 26, April 23, May 21

9:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Walk Through the Grades events are designed to allow adults an opportunity to observe main lessons in Sunfield classrooms, with a chance to discuss Waldorf education after the class observations.

Our Annual Giving campaign ended on March 15, with 98% participation from faculty, staff, board members, and student families and friends. We are delighted with this broad support, and gratefully acknowledge all those who participated in this year’s campaign.

Gifts to Annual Giving help maintain the quality of education we offer Sunfield students and the community. Although this year’s campaign is over, we gladly accept donations at any time.

Sunfield Waldorf School's Grade 6/7 class is presenting Roma Amor, a play set in ancient Rome, at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 15. We invite you to join us in the Chimacum Grange for this single performance. Admission is by donation.
